This is great stuff. I’m wondering when this will get into the main stream.

2006 looks like the year that many companies will start to apply some Semantic Web technologies in a very limited fashion via internal business solutions, SOA, ERP, etc. Forrester Research recently reported that the information quality market is on target to top $1 billion by 2008.

I wonder if all the money is in Healthcare or is it technology?

Trends indicate that the healthcare and life science industries are the earliest adopters, and thus, the largest markets for Semantic Web Technologies. But, as better tools and a clearer understanding of how to apply various applications to different business models develop, I anticipate seeing this technology cross all markets.

The Semantic Web will be as encompassing as the current web is today.
