Cerebra, Inc. a leading provider of semantic-based content integration solutions, today announced graduation of the first class from Cerebra University, the industry’s premier forum for semantic technology education. Jeff Pollock’s session, “Enterprise Semantic Web for 2006″ at this week’s Semantic Technology Conference 2006, is an introduction to the commercial application of semantic technology and to the Beginning Semantic Solutions course at Cerebra University.
The first group of students, including Cerebra clients, partners and consultants, completed classes last week: OWL-DL Modeling with RDF and Advanced Ontology Architecture.
“This course does a good job explaining the differences between semantic/ontology and relational approaches, and where the benefits are with semantics,” said attendee Othel Rolle, Sr. Director, Software & Data Applications at ImpactRx. “I recommend it to others in my organization.”
