Teranode Tackles Data Integration for the Life Sciences at BIO-IT World’s Life Sciences Conference + Expo

Teranode Corporation, the leading innovator of experiment design automation (XDA) software for the Life Sciences industry, today announced the company will participate in a panel discussion on semantic web at Bio-IT World’s Life Sciences Conference + Expo. The panel, titled, “The Semantic Web” will discuss how the Life Sciences is among the first industry to drive the development of the Semantic Web — data integration across both application and organizational boundaries. The panel will feature Matt Shanahan, chief marketing officer for Teranode, as well as Eric Neumann, senior director of product strategy for the company and a long-time champion for semantic technologies. The Life Sciences Conference + Expo takes place April 3-5, 2006, in Boston. The panel will offer both conceptual and practical steps to helping individuals and organizations understand and ultimately drive adoption of semantic web technologies. Joining Shanahan and Neumann will be representatives from Oracle Corporation, World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), Healthcare Systems Inc., and Health Industry Insights.
